ANALISIS KEJADIAN GASTROENTERITIS DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DAN KUALITAS HYGIENE SANITASI MAKANAN BERDASARKAN UJI BAKTERIOLOGIS PADA KARYAWAN PUSAT PERBELANJAAN

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pusat perbelanjaan sebagai salah satu sarana public tempat berkumpulnya masyarakat melakukan berbagai aktivitas dapat menjadi cluster penularan Covid-19. Selama masa pandemic SARS-CoV-2, sebagian besar perhatian kita tertuju kepada gejala-gejala penyakit gangguan pernapasan. Sedangkan kita tidak bisa menyampingkan gejala diare dan gangguan saluran pencernaan lainnya, misalnya gastroenteritis yang ditandai dengan adanya keluhan sindrome buang air besar. Metode penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Subyek penelitian adalah 208 karyawan pada 5 mall di Palembang dan 12 rumah makan yang menjadi pilihan karyawan tersebut untuk makan siang. Hasil: Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi skor penilaian hygeien sanitasi rumah makan, maka semakin rendah adanya keluhan irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Angka IBS mengalami kenaikan pada rumah makan yang menyediakan ruang makan yang terbuka, terutama pada rumah makan yang berada pada tepi jalan dengan lalu lintas padat. (1568,4%). Kesimpulan menyatakan bahwa semakin rendah skor penilaian grade rumah makan, semakin tinggi angka kejadian penyakit bawaan makanan (gastroenteritis).
