Abstract

Abstract

Class IIA Curup Correctional Institution . the103 employees were then calculated using the slovin formula with the results of 83 employees being the sample which was then analyzed using IBM SPSS 23 software. The results showed that there was an effect given by variable X on variable Y in the study obtained from the results of the t test to test the hypothesis . Researchers get the value of t count (5.786) > t table (1.990) so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which indicates that there is an effect of Authentic Leadership on employee performance. The researcher then conducted a determination test and obtained an R square value of 0.292 which shows that the influence of Authentic Leadership as an independent variable on employee performance as the dependent variable is 29.2% while the remaining 70.8% is influenced by other variables not explained in this study. . The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive and significant relationship between Authentic Leadership and employee performance in the Class IIA Curup Correctional Institution.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pegawai terhadap Authentic Leadership,persepsi pegawai terhadap kinerja dan pengaruh Authentic Leadership terhadap kinerja pegawai di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Curup.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif menggunakan data primer dari kuesioner dengan teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan yaitu Stratified Random Sampling terhadap 103 orang pegawai yang kemudian dilakukan perhitungan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dengan hasil 83 pegawai menjadi sampel yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan software IBM SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang diberikan variabel X terhadap variabel Y dalam penelitian yang didapatkan dari hasil uji t untuk menguji hipotesis. Peneliti mendapatkan nilai t hitung (5,786) > t tabel (1,990) sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, dimana menandakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Authentic Leadership terhadap kinerja pegawai. Peneliti kemudian melakukan uji determinasi dan memperoleh nilai R square sebesar 0,292 yang mana menunjukkan bahwa besar pengaruh Authentic Leadership sebagai variabel independen terhadap kinerja pegawai sebagai variabel dependen sebesar 29,2% sedangkan 70,8% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Authentic Leadership dan kinerja pegawai di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Curup.
