ANALISA PERHITUNGAN KESETIMBANGAN MASSA DAN KALOR PADA UNIT ROTARY DRYER

ABSTRAK
Pembuatan semen terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu penambangan dan penyiapan bahan baku, pengeringan dan penggilingan bahan baku, pembakaran dan penggilingan akhir. Pengeringan dan penggilingan bahan baku dilakukan di raw mill unit. Proses ini penting dilakukan untuk mengurangi beban pada burning unit dan finish mill unit. Pada penelitian ini digunakan rotary dryer sebagai alat pengering bahan baku, kemudian grinding mill sebagai alat penggilingan dan pengeringan bahan baku. Rotary dryer berfungsi untuk menghilangkan/mengurangi kadar air sandy clay sebelum masuk grinding mill. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa input dan output diagram alir massa dan panas, menghitung efisiensi rotary dryer dengan kapasitas 34.000 kg/jam dan menghitung panas yang hilang di rotary dryer. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan Analisa Kesetimbangan massa dan panas. Hasil penelitian ini mengenai proses pengeringan bahan baku semen dengan menggunakan rotary dryer didapat bahwa masukan ke sistem pengeringan antara lain: sandy clay dan gas panas sedangkan keluaranya berupa sandy clay produk kering dan gas panas.Efisiensi hasil perhitungan panas dimana rotary dryer sebesar 60,76%. Panas yang hilang ketika proses pengeringa di rotary dryer sebesar 39.24%.

ABSTRACT
Cement making consisting of several mining stages, namely, and the provision of raw materials , drying and grinding raw materials , burning and grinding the end of .Drying and grinding raw materials was conducted in raw mill unit .The process it is important be taken to reduce a load on burning units and crossed the finish line mill unit .To research is used rotary blow dryer as the dryer raw materials , then grinding mill as a means of milling and drying raw materials .Rotary blow dryer serves to dispel / reduce the moisture content of sandy clay prior to entering grinding mill .This study aims to to analyze the input and output mass and heat , counting efficiency rotary blow dryer with the capacity of 34.000 kg per hours and counting heat who went missing in rotary blow dryer .Was used in the study methodology analysis equilibrium mass and heat .The result of the drying cement raw material obtained by using rotary dryer that input to the system include drying: sandy clay and hot gas while output sandy clay products such as dry and the results of hot gas. efficiency where rotary 60,76. dryer by percent. The heat lost when the process in a rotary dryer 39.24. dryer by percent.
