Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of photogrammetry methods on the efficiency of implementation time and the accuracy of embankment volume calculations in the Yogyakarta–Bawen Toll Road Construction Project Package 1 (Section 1). The research method was carried out by collecting data using drones with a combination of nadir and oblique image capture, calibrated with Ground Control Points (GCP) to generate a Digital Surface Model (DSM). The embankment volume obtained from photogrammetry was then compared with conventional measurements using a Total Station as a reference control. The results showed that the use of photogrammetry significantly reduced the survey execution time while maintaining a relatively small volume deviation compared to terrestrial methods. Therefore, photogrammetry can be considered an effective alternative for contour data acquisition in embankment volume estimation.
