Manuscript Archiving Provisions

Dear Authors,

In our ongoing efforts to improve service quality, enhance manuscript management efficiency, and ensure a timely peer-review process, the Editorial Board of Jurnal Komposit: Jurnal Ilmu-ilmu Teknik Sipil has established a new policy regarding the duration of manuscript processing by authors.

Effective from the date of this announcement, the following provisions shall apply:

Manuscript Archiving Provisions

  • Response Deadline: Authors are required to follow up on manuscripts that necessitate revisions, administrative fulfillment, or other confirmations via the OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform.

  • Maximum Waiting Period: Manuscripts that do not receive a response or are not re-processed by the author for 3 (three) consecutive months will be considered withdrawn.

  • System Action: Such manuscripts will be automatically Archived and removed from the editorial processing queue.

Consequences and Further Procedures

  • Removal of Priority Rights: Archived manuscripts will no longer be prioritized for review, and their status in the system will be marked as Declined/Archived.

  • Resubmission: Should the author still wish to publish an archived manuscript, they are required to initiate a New Submission in accordance with the latest applicable procedures and terms.

  • Communication: We strongly advise authors to correspond via our system's discussion and massaging feature if technical obstacles arise that prevent the revision process before the deadline.

  • For authors whose manuscripts have exceeded the grace period: If you are still interested in publishing your article, please upload your revisions or provide confirmation through the OJS system no later than June 30, 2026.

This policy is implemented solely to provide certainty for other manuscripts in the queue and to maintain a healthy publication circulation.

​Dalam upaya kami untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas layanan, efisiensi manajemen naskah, serta memastikan proses penelaahan (review) berjalan secara tepat waktu, Dewan Redaksi Jurnal Komposit: Jurnal Ilmu-ilmu Teknik Sipil menetapkan kebijakan baru terkait durasi pemrosesan naskah oleh penulis.

Terhitung sejak tanggal pengumuman ini diterbitkan, diberlakukan ketentuan sebagai berikut:

Ketentuan Pengarsipan Naskah

  • ​Batas Waktu Respon: Penulis wajib menindaklanjuti naskah yang memerlukan revisi, kelengkapan administrasi, atau konfirmasi lainnya melalui sistem OJS (Open Journal Systems).
  • Masa Tunggu Maksimal: Naskah yang tidak mendapatkan respon atau tidak diproses ulang oleh penulis selama 3 (tiga) bulan berturut-turut akan dianggap mengundurkan diri.
  • Tindakan Sistem: Naskah tersebut akan secara otomatis diarsipkan (Archived) dan dikeluarkan dari daftar antrean proses redaksi.

Konsekuensi dan Prosedur Lanjutan

  • Penghapusan Hak Prioritas: Naskah yang telah diarsipkan tidak lagi menjadi prioritas penelaahan dan statusnya dalam sistem akan dinyatakan selesai (Declined/Archived).
  • ​Pengajuan Ulang: Jika penulis tetap ingin menerbitkan naskah yang telah diarsipkan, penulis diwajibkan untuk melakukan pengiriman ulang (New Submission) sesuai dengan prosedur dan ketentuan terbaru yang berlaku
  • Komunikasi: Kami sangat menyarankan penulis untuk melakukan korespondensi melalui fitur pesan diskusi di sistem jika terdapat kendala teknis yang menghalangi proses revisi sebelum batas waktu berakhir.
  • Bagi penulis yang telah melampai masa tunggu, Jika Anda masih berminat menerbitkan artikel tersebut, mohon segera unggah revisi atau berikan konfirmasi melalui sistem OJS sebelum tanggal 30 Juni 2026.

​Kebijakan ini diambil semata-mata untuk memberikan kepastian bagi naskah-naskah lain yang sedang mengantre dan menjaga sirkulasi penerbitan yang sehat.
