The institution's commitment to Sharia principles and prudence led to the research being conducted there. Despite the importance of Spiritual Intermediation in Islamic microfinance, it has not been thoroughly studied. The analysis method employed qualitative research, consisting of pilot and pre-research stages.
KSPPS Khidmatul Ummah Bogor is a Sharia microfinance institution operating as a Sharia Savings and Loans Financing Cooperative, focusing on empowering the poor and unbanked in West Bogor. The institution follows five operational pillars: Alms, Savings, Soft Loans, Financing, and Investment. The aspects of spiritual intermediation at KSPPS Khidmatul Ummah Bogor align with Sharia principles and are consistently demonstrated by the administrators. However, there is room for improvement in ensuring Sharia compliance. While internal Sharia education and training are robust, the external efforts could be enhanced for maximum impact. Through its operations, KSPPS Khidmatul Ummah Bogor aims to address economic challenges faced by the lower middle class community in the region
