About the Journal

Kasaba: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam is a scientific journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service and managed by the Doctoral and Master’s Programs in Islamic Economics, Graduate School - Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor.

The scope of Kasaba: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam encompasses Islamic economics, covering both microeconomic and macroeconomic levels grounded in Islamic values. Additionally, it includes the study of commercial and social Islamic finance (Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf) applied within both banking and non-banking institutions.

Kasaba: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam published twice a year since 2010 (June and December).

KASAB: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam invites academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to submit their best manuscripts or scientific articles—based on either research findings or critical literature reviews—for publication in the June 2026 edition. We are committed to disseminating original, innovative, and impactful scientific contributions in the study of commercial and social Islamic finance (Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf) applied within both banking and non-banking institutions.
