ANALISIS PENGARUH TINGKAT KEBUTUHAN DAN RELIGIUSITAS TERHADAP PERILAKU BERUTANG PADA RUMAH TANGGA MUSLIM DI KOTA DEPOK
Abstract
The acquisition of debt is an unavoidable and necessary undertaking in life. Debt is something that is permissible, but it should be the final option to meet needs, by also looking at the priority needs that must be met. the needs in islam are aimed to achieve the goals of maqashid sharia, and the objectives are ranked by the hierarchical order of the essential (dharuriyat), the complimentary (hajiyat) and the luxurious (tahsiniyat). Someone with a good understanding and practice of religion is considered to be able to sort out priorities in meeting needs so as not to get caught in the debt trap.
This study aims to determine the pattern of debt in Muslim households in the city of Depok and whether the level of need and religiosity affects the behavior of debt in Muslim households in the city of Depok. The results of the regression test showed that the level of need for dharuriyat and religiosity had a significant positive effect, while the need for hajiyat and tahsiniyat had no significant effect on debt behavior, and had a negative relationship. The results of the F test show that the four variables have a significant influence with an R Square value of 25.7%, where these four variables only have a percentage of 25.7% in explaining debt behavior in Muslim households in Depok city. While the remaining 74.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
