Furniture companies in Indonesia, that mostly asmall medium enterprise was expected had adoptedenvironmental management in their organization. The researchproblems in this research is how to increase sustainable
competitive using corporate environmental management.
Purpose of this research is to analyze relationship between
regulation and environmental management, to analyze
relationship between stakeholder and environmental
management, to analyze relationship between cost and
environmental management, to analyze relationship between
competitive requirement and environmental, to analyze
relationship between environmental management and
competitive advantage.Variable that supports this research comes from Bansal &Roth (2000), Berri & Rondinelli (1998), dan Starik & Marcus
(2000). Sample used in this research are 120 responden. They
are the furniture companies that categories as small enterprise
which the employee about 5-99 person and 1 year minimum
operating in Jepara.Result of hypothesis examination prove that regulation have
positive impact to environmental management, cost have positive
impact to environmental management, stakeholder pressure have
an positive impact to environmental management, competitive
requirement have positive impact to environmental management,
and environmental management have positive impact to
sustainable competitive advantage for corporation.
Pursuant to result examination of the hypothesis hence can
pulled some managerial implication, that is company require to
give to make product design partying to environment, company
own clear product standard which make customer satisfied,
company give attention to public request for the environmental
protection, company can make environmental management as a
way of to decrease expense, by decreasing waste or by recycling
existing waste.
