Korelasi Intensitas Dzikir dengan Kesalehan Akhlak Peserta Didik Pesantren

Religious habituation in Islamic boarding schools is intended to establish spiritual routines and cultivate students' moral conduct. This study described dhikr intensity and moral piety and examined their association at Al-Khoeriyah Islamic Boarding School. A quantitative cross-sectional correlational design was employed. All 349 students in grades 7-12 participated through total sampling. Data were collected using two 15-item Likert questionnaires and analyzed with descriptive statistics, a linearity test, Pearson correlation, and Spearman correlation as a sensitivity analysis. Mean dhikr intensity was 67.48 (SD = 2.87), while mean moral piety was 67.27 (SD = 2.98); most respondents were in the moderate category. The association was linear (deviation from linearity p = .525) and very strongly positive (r = .912, p < .001, R2 = .832), with a consistent Spearman result (rho = .941, p < .001). Higher dhikr intensity was associated with higher moral piety. The nonexperimental design, self-report measurement, single-site setting, and limited reliability evidence require noncausal interpretation and instrument verification.
