Faktor Dominan Penghambat Pelaksanaan Proyek pada Industri Konstruksi

Sektor konstruksi di Indonesia telah mengalami pertumbuhan signifikan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, ditandai dengan seringnya terjadi keterlambatan proyek dari berbagai proyek konstruksi. Keterlambatan proyek merupakan isu mendesak dalam industri konstruksi di Indonesia. Investor semakin prihatin dengan isu ini, sehingga diperlukan studi komprehensif untuk mengungkap solusi potensial. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan studi komprehensif tentang keterlambatan proyek konstruksi di Indonesia. Studi ini meneliti secara mendalam pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi, yaitu pemilik proyek, konsultan, dan kontraktor. Penelitian ini mengkaji dua puluh (20) faktor utama penyebab keterlambatan proyek yang dirangkum dari beberapa jurnal terkemuka dalam penelitian sebelumnya tahun 2024-2016. Faktor-faktor penghambat penyebab keterlambatan ini dikelompokkan menjadi tiga kelompok utama; Pemilik (Owner), Kontraktor, dan Konsultan. Penelitian literatur dalam jurnal-jurnal sebelumnya dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambat penyebab keterlambatan proyek. Analisis ini mengurutkan keterlambatan proyek untuk mendapatkan pihak yang paling dominan menyebabkan keterlambatan proyek konstruksi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa semua pihak yang terlibat berpotensi jadi penghambat dan penyebab keterlambatan, sehinga dapat diidentifikasi dan dikaji potensi terbesar yang menjadi penyebab utama keterlambatan proyek. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pedoman untuk mengusulkan membuat strategi baru dalam pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi.
