The phenomenon of digital da'wah (Islamic preaching) on TikTok and Instagram Reels has changed the pattern of religious authority among adolescents, particularly vocational high school students who are familiar with visual culture and social media. This study aims to analyze vocational high school students' digital literacy in filtering viral da'wah content through a Cyber-Tabayyun perspective. The study used a qualitative approach with virtual ethnography methods and in-depth interviews with students from various expertise programs. The results show a tension between the visual appeal of viral content and the depth of Islamic law. Social media algorithms act as "spiritual curators" that tend to simplify religious messages through short videos. Nevertheless, students demonstrate Cyber-Tabayyun skills through information verification by comparing sources, reading comments, and conducting digital consultations with parties deemed competent. These findings indicate that although religious authority has begun to shift from the classroom to digital media, students still have religious agency in validating information. This study recommends revitalizing the Islamic Religious Education curriculum based on vocational digital literacy to build students' digital immunity in the post-truth era and encourage more professional, critical, and accountable digital da'wah.
